Some types of aircraft require additional skills and training.

• Tail-wheel: airplanes with a conventional landing gear. The old fashioned type!
• Complex: airplanes with retractable landing gear and variable pitch propellers. The difficult type!
• High Performance: airplanes with more than 200 Hp engines. The fast type!
• High Altitude: airplanes with a pressurized cabin. The fancy type!

The minimum requirement is a valid Private Pilot Certificate.

These endorsements do not require FAA check-rides, however, they must be signed off by Certified Flight Instructors.
